| Description | Fibronectin, Rat is a fibronectin (FN) derived from rats. FN is divided into plasma-soluble and cell-derived types, which can regulate cell attachment and spreading. Plasma-soluble and cell-derived FNs differ in solubility, binding function, size, and the fragments produced by proteolysis. Plasma-soluble FN is produced by hepatocytes and spreads in the blood, with an inactive dense conformation. After integrin-mediated binding during the inflammatory stage of wound healing, FN protein can produce fibrin clots to promote wound healing [1] . |
