| Description | CalFluor 488 Azide is a water-soluble fluorogenic azide probe. CalFluor 488 Azide is activated by Cu-catalyzed or metal-free click reaction. CalFluor 488 Azide is not fluorescent until it is reacted with alkynes [1] [2] . It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing alkyne groups. It can also undergo ring strain-promoted alkyne-azide cycloaddition (SPAAC) with molecules containing DBCO or BCN groups. |
